I joined BOOM during the Event, then NOA decided to become a Guild. As part of the guild benefit from BOOM, I learnt Skin Ward was taught to Meditate. If I choose to represent NOA at future events, will I lose both of these benefits and have to relearn/rebuy them?

I think Will shall correct me if I am wrong but I think you can only represent one guild at a time, this means that you would lose any bonus granted by being part of one guild when you left for another.

However you gain your new guilds bonus.

Like I said, Will is sure to correct me if I am wrong.

"A character may belong to as many guilds as they like, but will be bound by the allegiances and disadvantages of all whilst only being able to gain benefits from one. By benefits here we mean the specific ones granted by the guild not any extra help that might be provided by guild members (for example, the guild leader might decide they want to lend an item to you, or give you some extra money)."

My reading here is that he'd be able to keep the BOOM benifits, as long as he didnt take any of the TMG benifits. However I am a lowly player not a ref :) Doesn't stop him being a member, per se.

If I do lose the spell, would that mean I now know no secondary sphere spells and could choose another school? Not sure whether I will or not, just want to know whether it's worth looking into..

Note that some guilds forbid you being a member of any other guild as part of the disadvantage.

This question has come up before and I believe you'd loose the spell. (However you might be able to sweet talk a ref about that at mark-up, tea, cake, snickers bars and mars bars have all be tried not that refs are bribable...) ;)

The explanation I had ages ago was that you could pick the benefit you preferred...

Lol, I missed this thread...

You gain the benefits of one guild, disadvantages of all.

You may choose which advantages you have on the adventure/event.

So, being with BOOM and NOA, you would have to uphold all loyalties of both (ha ha sucks to be you if they conflict and you have to choose leading to lots of trouble), but choose either the benefits you gain from NOA OR BOOM.
